Back when I worked at GameStop (and the company actually cared about their managers), my boss got this console specially delivered by GameStop to the Smithhaven Mall GameStop in Lake Grove, NY. He was mainly a PlayStation guy, so he didn’t even take the thing out of the box until I bought it from him in 2022.
This was my Secondary Series X console, so I didn’t put a lot of hours into it. I wanted it since it was a really cool collectors item, and at the time, they were going for over $1000 on eBay, while my boss was offering it to me for a really nice deal. As a matter of fact, the controller that came with this console wasn’t even used until I went to test it this morning.
With the rising cost of consoles, I’d say this is a great deal since there were only 10,000 made, and it is more than likely to hold its value being the last Xbox console with Halo as an exclusive.
