to zero your rifle without
having to use live ammunition
and this is exactly what the
Red-i-Laser boresight allows
you to do. In order to
set your sights or rifle scope
accurately, the unit is expertly
aligned on our unique Center
Jig; this is where we align
the internal laser with the
outer dimensions of the cartridge,
ensuring that the laser is
precisely lined up with the
path of the live round.
If your target is around 25
metres away, you can now zero
your rifle or set your sights
or riflescope using the red
dot as reference. The boresight's
red laser dot will always shine
on the spot where the live
round would strike and the
difference between the dot
and your sights or rifle scope
will always stay the same;
you would not have to repeat
this procedure. If you
find that your grouping is
still off-centre, even after
you had followed this procedure,
keep in mind that other factors
may influence it, like a bent
barrel.
The Red-i unit is available
in over 130 calibres off the
shelf, meeting the needs of
most users. These include
scarce calibres like the .45,
.55 air rifle and all shotgun
calibres as well. Calibres
are available for specialist
firearms too, like machine
guns, air defence systems,
assault rifles, grenade launchers
and aircraft cannons. However,
even if your desired calibre
is not on the list, we can
manufacture any once-off calibre
for you if you supply us with
the appropriate C.I.P. or S.A.A.M.I.
specifications.
